Spirit distribution
The distribution dates and times for spirit sneakers & clothes are: Saturday July 12th 9am -12noon (11-12 for people not fitted yet) and Monday July 21st 5pm- 8pm (7-8 for people not fitted yet) at The Marion Gerrish.

Registrations ongoing
We are currently accepting mail registrations.  Register by sending in completed Forms with the registration fee to Derry Demons, P.O. Box 118, Derry, NH  03038. Children ages 7-15 (as of 7/31/08 ) from Derry, Auburn, Chester, and Hampstead are invited to participate. Visit our Sign Ups page for more registration information.

Football equipment handout
We will be distributing football equipment on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the Humphrey Practice Field. MM and JPW distribution is from 8am-10am.  PW, JM and Midget will be from 10am-12pm. Please remember that a $300 check deposit is required upon issuance of equipment. Checks will not be cashed unless equipment is not returned by December 1st.

Demons 2008 Coaching Staff
The coaching application process for Spirit and Football for the 2008 season is still open for Mitey Mite Cheer and Jr. Midget Football. Coach Joe Balis Fund
We are sad to report that we recently lost a member of the Derry Demons family. Joe Balis passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2008. Joe is fondly remembered as a great contributor to the community including coaching and volunteering for Derry Little League and the Derry Rec. Basketball program. In addition to his wife Kathleen, Coach Joe Balis is survived by his daughter Kayla, a Demons cheerleader, and his son Jonathan, a Demons football player.  We ask for your help for the family. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Coach Joe Balis Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, 42 Pinkerton St., Derry NH  03038

Cash Calendar fundraiser
We have introduced a Cash Calendar as one of our two mandatory fundraisers for this season. Upon registration, each family will receive 10 Derry Demons Cash Calendars to sell at $10 each. Those who purchase the calendar will be entered into our daily drawing in August to win a cash prize ranging from $50 to $300 per day.  We hope to obtain payment in advance for the calendars ($100) at registration. However, any families needing extra time to sell the calendars will be given the option of paying for them at a later date.  Thank you to Bob Stuart and Vermillion Printing of Derry for donating the time and materials to print the calendars for the Demons.

Midget Football weight change
In 2008, the weight restriction for Midgets has been eliminated. Everything else in the Midget program remains the same. For all other football levels, weights are the same as they were last year. You can see last year's weights by clicking on the "age/weight limit" page.
